Dr. Lai begins by performing a comprehensive exam on each new patient. He checks for problems such as loose or missing teeth and dental work, gum disease, cavities, and oral cancer. He takes the time to get to know each individual, discussing precisely what is expected from their care. And perhaps most important, he listens to any concerns, calms any fears, and explains what each treatment entails before it is performed.
Having a peaceful, relaxed environment is so important to us. We can offer a very warm blanket at any time. Digital x-rays are used exclusively, ensuring comfort and minimizing radiation exposure. All instruments are sterilized with high-pressure steam autoclaves, and equipment is disinfected prior to every use.
